This year our farmer's market-sized division will be present several different events around Wichita, KS. We will be at the Old Town Farm & Art Market on various Saturdays.  We will be participating in every event by Firefly Farms in Andover. We will be participating at Orie’s Garlic Festival this fall!

We bring a variety of products:

Firefly Farm’s Tomato Fest! & Celebration

We will have butterfly hatcheries, butterfly kits, a butterfly feeding experience, both real framed specimens, plantable seed-paper butterflies and MORE!

Event Details:

Make plans to attend on Sunday, July 21st from 10a-2p!

Of course the heirloom tomato selection is second-to-none. In addition, your favorite local food and drink vendors are all lined up. Local artists and makers add fun and flair to the festival, too!

This year, we’re also celebrating Firefly Farm’s 10th anniversary. While it’s been in the family for more than 70 years, commercial crop production and public events launched a decade ago.

Bring the kids and tour the farm while you shop, snack and relax on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

OUR FIRST EVENT OF 2024. It will be a butterfly palooza.

Seed started plants in premium potting soil and an eclectic group of local vendors too! Eat and enjoy with family and friends!

Botanica's Butterfly House 25th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Botanica Butterfly House!

Join us in the Main Meadow for fun Butterfly activities including a photo booth, crafts, games, and more. Leave a message for future generations to find in the commemorative time capsule.

Make the day extra special by signing up to release a butterfly inside the butterfly house!

Butterfly releases will be held from 11a to 2:30p. Pre-registration online is required for all butterfly releases. $8 per butterfly.

Plant Fun in the Sun! at Chainlink Gallery Place

Sunflower Espresso and Renata's Garden will be in front of Chainlink selling coffee and plants. Meanwhile inside of Chainlink, The Hatchery Butterfly Farm will selling "butterfly hatchery" chrysalis boxes and framed butterflies... and depending on butterfly availability, you may be able to feed butterflies as well!

Lastly, we'll have a table set up where you can drop off old plant pots.
